ESL Transition Program Questions

$12,435 per semester, which includes course fees, accommodation and meals. This amount is after a 20% bursary.

The full semester amount is due and payable when the student arrives on campus.

All students who are accepted into the ESL Transition program receive this bursary. The bursary is based on the normal cost for a year of undergraduate study.

Normal cost of undergraduate study: USD 31,000 (approx)

Cost for 1 year of CEPAS: USD 24,930

Note that a CEPAS student will receive a scholarship of 15% to 35% for each year of their undergraduate program at FSC.

Take a moment to compare the cost of study for a US student completing a four-year course, and for an international student completing CEPAS and then the same 4-year course. (The table below assumes there is no annual price increase, but students should expect some level of increase each year).

Figures show complete costs including tuition, accommodation and meals. The international students saves over $20,000 over the 4 years. Amounts are subject to inflation but bursaries will rise in line with price increases. In some cases students with high GPA's (+75%) will be eligible for a scholarship of 35% or $10,862 per year based on current prices.

The course fees cover accommodation and meals at the campus restaurant. Therefore it is possible for students to live at the college with no extra cost above the course fees. However, any additional optional activities outside the college (such as eating off-campus, going to movies off-campus, shopping, trips to the beach or visits to Disneyland) would cost extra.

All students receive a campus restaurant card that entitles them to free meals. The campus restaurant serves a variety of high quality and healthy dishes making it unnecessary for students to pay extra for food.

Students can partake in any of the 70 student clubs and organizations on campus, and are encouraged to do so.
