About the ESL Transition Program

The ESL Transition Program is housed at the Center for English Proficiency and Academic Success (CEPAS). It is located on the campus of Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. All students in the university preparation program live on campus, take English classes and enjoy the life of a US college student!

In the ESL Transition Program, you will:

Live on campus as part of the Florida Southern College student body
Start your US university courses as soon as your English has reached TOEFL IBT 61
Earn a 20% scholarship for your University Entry ESL Transition Program
Earn up to 30% scholarship* for your USA degree studies at Florida Southern College.

* Scholarship level is dependent on the student's GPA.

Our USA university preparation program has fall, spring and summer intakes. Each session lasts one academic term (3-4 months).

How much does the ESL Transition program cost?

Tuition, room and board for this university entry program costs $12,465 USD per semester.

For a full year program, students pay $24,930 USD.

This represents a large scholarship from Florida Southern College’s full tuition prices.
