Merhaba! (Hello) My name is Mehmet and I’ve lived in the UK for 10 years. I’m originally from Istanbul, Turkey.
I studied one year English Language and Literature followed by four years of Media Studies & Journalism, which I have a Bachelor’s degree in. I have mainly worked in Travel & Tourism, Customer Services and Education both in the UK and Turkey.
I speak Turkish, English and a little bit of German.
Having worked in multi-national companies has given me the opportunity to learn a great deal about foreign cultures. This has also expanded my horizons and made me feel confident to tackle different situations and rectify them successfully.
It’s wonderful to see how hard people work to be able to deliver the best service to you here, and I feel totally privileged to be a part of this dedicated team.

Bir yil Ingiliz Dili ve Edebiyati okuduktan sonra Istanbul Universitesi, Iletisim Fakultesi’nden mezun oldum. Is hayatimin buyuk bir bolumunde Turizm, Musteri Hizmetleri ve Egitim konularinda calistim.
Turkce, Ingilizce ve biraz da Almaca konusuyorum.

Hi! My name is Sonia Lopes and I have been a Student Enrolment Counsellor since May 2008.
I graduated in Social Communications (Media), specialized in Journalism, done several vocational training courses, and experienced working with people from different countries and occupational fields.
I'm Portuguese, but my parents are from Cape Verde a lovely archipelago with nine islands in the west coast of Africa, so Portuguese is my first language, but I am fluent in English too. I also have a good understanding and conversational level in Spanish, French and Italian.
I believe that my background has provided me with the necessary skills to assist you in any way so feel free to contact me with your queries.

Tenho uma licenciatura em Comunicacao Social (Media), com especializacao em Jornalismo e varios cursos vocacionais. Ja trabalhei com pessoas de muitas origens e em diversas areas, relacionadas com os media, a economia, a sociedade entre outras, e acredito que com as polivalencias adquiridas ao longo dos anos, posso ajudar-te tanto no processo de inscricao, como no decorrer do programa/curso e no esclarecimento de quaisquer duvidas.
